Maksim (Max) Montatskiy D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. Max Montatskiy grew up in Belarus and immigrated to the U.S. in 2002. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. In 2010, he obtained a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a healthcare administration certification from Rosalind Franklin University.
In 2015, Dr. Montatskiy graduated magna cum laude, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry. After practicing as a general dentist in Wisconsin, he pursued further education at Marquette University, School of Dentistry. There, he earned a Master of Science and a certificate in Endodontics. Currently, he holds a part-time faculty position in the Endodontics Department at Marquette University, guiding both endodontic residents and dental students.
Post-residency, Dr. Montatskiy worked as an endodontist in Wisconsin before returning to Illinois, eager to serve his community. Committed to community service, he volunteered dental services in Illinois and Wisconsin through Goldie’s Place dental clinic, Mission of Mercy, and Give Kids a Smile foundation. He is affiliated with various dental societies, including the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Montatskiy's clinical interests include dental anesthesia, dental trauma, and regenerative endodontics. Outside his professional life, he cherishes family time and pursues a variety of hobbies like running, biking, weight training, cooking, traveling, and music. His mission is to provide the best and safest endodontic care to every patient in a friendly and comfortable environment.
